Project Manager, Excess Soils Group
Hind Balamhitou brings a powerful combination of academic rigor and hands-on expertise to every project she oversees. Armed with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Abdelmalek Essaadi University in Morocco, Hind’s academic foundation is complemented by her practical experience in the field. She is currently pursuing the prestigious Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) designation and is an active member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT), underscoring her dedication to continuous professional growth.
With extensive knowledge of Ontario’s environmental regulations, Hind expertly navigates the complexities of regulatory and permitting requirements, ensuring seamless compliance for every project. She specializes in preparing Phase One Environmental Site Assessments and takes a hands-on approach to site investigations, bringing sharp insights and technical expertise to overcome challenges.
Recently promoted to Project Manager of our Excess Soils Group, Hind has consistently demonstrated exceptional expertise, dedication, and leadership. Her contributions have been instrumental in advancing NSSL’s projects and driving the growth of the Excess Soils Group. In her new role, Hind will oversee project management efforts, encompassing Ontario’s evolving regulatory framework of O. Reg 409/19 On-Site and Excess Soil Management. She will foster stronger client relationships, and spearhead innovative solutions for both public and private sector clients.
